24517 Omattage

24517 Omattage (provisional designation: 2001 BN71) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by the Lincoln Near-Earth Asteroid Research project in Socorro, New Mexico, on January 29, 2001. It is named after Natalie Saranga Omattage, an American high school student whose environmental sciences project won first place at the 2008 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
